All this gloomy wet and cold winter weather we've been having makes me think back to the the summer when I was watching my cousins water sliding in the backyard at Poppy and Memere's place. I did post some photos before, but here's a video from that day that you haven't seen. The memories are as fresh in my mind as if it was just yesterday. Hope you like it!

farm

Monday was a public holiday and I went to a local farm with my friend Alexandre. We rode in a wagon together, saw some sheep, pigs and a goat. Just after this photo was taken, one of those pigs woke up and came running towards us - and it wasnt just saying "oink-oink" either, it was squealing really loudly. It was very scary!! None of my books mention anything about pigs squealing. I always thought the pigs were friendly and just said oink-oink, so this was a real eye-opener for me. Anyway, luckily they were fenced in.

train

Today I had my first train ride. The train comes right through our town and I see going by it almost every day. Today I finally got to climb aboard and it was very exciting to sit inside and see all the other passengers, plus the great views as the landscape went zooming by. We took a short ride a few stops down the line, walked around the shops there, and came back home. I can't wait to go again. As always on my blog you can click any photo to enlarge it.

We had a winter afternoon trip to the beach with my friend Alexandre and his family. In these pics you will see me with my parents, also me playing with Alexandre, and him pushing his dad on his tricycle, and of course a great sunset over the pacific to end the day.

gymnastics

Friday is my gymnastics day. I love it. We get to run and jump and crawl through various obstacles. My friend Landon is in my class too. I like to walk the balance beam, hang onto the roman rings and jump on the trampoline. At the end of my half hour class we climb into the TumbleTown Castle which has a pit full of foam blocks which I dive into. Its great fun!!
