Home Depot

Today was my first trip to Home Depot. I found it fascinating. There's so much stuff to look at. Its lucky that I enjoyed it because Daddy says we'll be going there all the time.

Speaking

As I have mentioned in previous posts, my parents take photos and videos of me all the time :-(

I thought that you might be interested to see this video. It shows me making my first attempts at talking. I'm just learning and I have a long way to go, but as you will see in this video I am experimenting quite a lot these days. I'm actually probably much better at writing than I am at talking.

Mullet

Did you know I have this really cool hairstyle, called a "mullet"?

Lots of poeple choose this style, but I was actually born with it, so I'm really lucky. My mother says its "all business in the front, and a party at the back".

The Yurt

My cousins, Gabriel and Oliver, live in this really cool house, its called a yurt. I went to visit them today and the yurt was amazing. Its set up like one big room, and they have apropper kitchen, sleeping area, dining area and tons of play space. I loved to stare around at all the cool stuff they had. This is a photo of me and my Aunt Ceci, she's really nice, I first met her the day I was born. By the way, you can always click on a photo to make it bigger.



We were going outside, so my mom put me in this thing she calls the Baby Bjorn. I am not really a big fan of that thing. I really only like to be held up high on people's shoulders, where I can get a good view. When I'm in the baby bjorn, I just stare right into the person carrying me and I can't see anything...it makes me feel a bit frustrated.



My cousins Gabriel and Oliver can be seen here in the yurt, playing on their computer. They're so much older than me, and really cool guys. I can't wait till I am big enough to run around with them. They are great cousins, I'm so lucky to live kind of near them. I have other cousins too, but most of them live far away I haven't had a chance to meet them all yet.

Memere and Poppi

I love my Memere and Poppi, they came all the way from Connecticut especially to see me. We had some great fun together and I can't wait to see them again in September when we go to visit them.

Quilt

My friend Julia has a clever mom, Laurel, and she made me this fantastic quilt, completely from scratch. Its got my name on it and everything. I really love it, and it looks great on the crib that Auntie Laurie gaved me.

Smiling

This idea of "smiling"....I'm starting to get the hang of it. We were practising that today, and here are some photos of me working on it.









OK, well as you can see, I'm still working on it, but its a start!
